It is one of those lovely mornings when the wind is just perfectly cooling. We take the opportunity to enjoy the moment a little extra when we have breakfast at the top of the island, overlooking the archipelago. The 50-day beard also gets documented.
It gets dark and we fail to catch more fish for dinner and tomorrow’s lunch. We land on the north side of the islandYlvingen and put up our camp in a protected bay, where we finally enjoy our dinner on two different types of fish.
It is wonderful paddling in this area – Helgeland – with its thousands of small islands and plenty of opportunities to go ashore. But we cannot really say that it is better than what we have had before, although the area close toReipå was clearly above most of what we have seen.
