Day 9 and 10 - Last days of the test trip

Yesterday night, after having spent the day planning and fixing with equipment we set out in the most beautiful sunset. We met up with Tim and his girlfriend Ulrika on Styrsö after paddling the last hour with headlamps.

The weather today has been great as well, making this morning one of the best ones so far. Tim had picked a great campsite and we didn't want to leave it in a hurry.

After breakfast we had a safety training session with a lot of balance practice involved. Finally Alex could put his new dry suit to test.

After lunch we decided to paddle to Vinga (in the outermost part of Gothenburg arqipelago), in order to get a more realistic and rougher sea state to perform the safety training in. By this time Tim's friend Jonas had joined up with us and took this photo next to the lighthouse on Vinga.

On the way back we had the wind and current in our backs and could make it to Galterö before dark. Tomorrow will be the last day on the test trip and we will finish with some more safety.

Thanks for following us during these days. In June it's the real deal when we take on the Norwegian Coast!

  2. Sit In Kayaks are the traditional type of kayaks. When most people think about kayaks this is the type that usually comes to mind. They are similar to canoes in that you sit inside on the bottom hull of the kayak. Surf Fishing
